2.1 // Mary's place service project/white center
We desire to be faithfully present to the people in our community. This year we are excited to partner with Mary’s Place as they care for our unhoused neighbors. On Saturday, February 1st we will be serving at the White Center location to help 15-20 kids make Valentine’s crafts. It’s going to be an awesome time connecting with these families! Sign up in the lobby this week.
2.2 // Membership class
Interested in finding out a bit more about Redemption Church? Please sign up and join us for our next Membership Class! In this class we walk through the history of Redemption as well as our mission, vision, philosophy, and theology of our church. This is a time to get to know some of our leaders as well as ask any questions pertaining to what it is to be a member of our family. Join us following morning worship!
2.5 // Prayer and worship night
This will be our first prayer and worship night as a church and we're really excited for it! Our hope in this is to provide more time and space for us as God's children to pursue him in worship. To raise our voices, reflect, repent, seek healing and to continue to learn the rhythm of directing our worship together to God.
2.15 // RKids family bowling
Join us for a fun afternoon of family bowling! RKids has rented out the bowling alley at the HUB @ UW from 3-5 pm on Saturday, February 15th. All ages welcome. Food will not be provided, but will be available for purchase. Please RSVP and email with any questions.
2.23 // Foundations class - christology
Each quarter, Pastor Alex prepares and presents a theology lecture surrounding a given doctrine or topic. As he teaches, we have roundtable discussions and lunch together. For example, we've done classes on Mental Health, Friendship, Justification, and Creation. This quarter’s focus is on the subject of “Christology.” In particular, we’re going to spend some time looking into what Scripture has to say about Jesus being 100% God and 100% man and what some of those implications are on us as his followers. Sign up in the lobby so that we can make sure we have enough food ordered and materials prepared for you!
Time: Following morning worship
