Sundays On The Lawn
Time & Location
About The Event
We will be holding small, hour-long Sunday gatherings on our church lawn in Green Lake at 8:15 AM and 11:45 AM, adhering to COVID-19 (Phase 2) guidelines and restrictions. During this time, a word of encouragement will be given by Pastor Alex, and there will be a time of prayer, individual communion, as well as connection with one another. This time will not replace our weekly digital liturgies, but will be a supplement to begin steps towards normalcy through gathering together in person once again.
Each service will have a cap of 40 individuals, and chairs will be set up on the lawn in groupings by family, spaced apart six feet adhering to Phase 2 guidelines. Individual communion elements will be provided upon arrival, and hand sanitizing stations will be available on premise. Masks for all adults and kids are required throughout the gathering. Please note, these gatherings will be family-style, wherein kids will need to stay with their parents (no kids ministry will be provided at this time). We want to respect everyone’s comfortability and to keep safety as a high priority, and we also understand the challenging nature of keeping young ones seated and socially distanced. If you believe this will be an issue for your family, please consider withholding participation in this way at this time. There will also be no access to the inside of the church building during these gatherings. Please bring the materials you need for you and your children; if necessary, the bathrooms stationed across from the church at the lake can be used upon individual discretion. If cancellation is necessary due to poor weather, an email communication will be sent out by 7:30 AM on Sunday mornings.
Please note, RSVPs will be required for every attendee. Sign up for your slots now for you and your families! We also encourage Life Groups to gather together at the same service whenever possible.
We are so looking forward seeing your faces and gathering together once again!
