Ash Wednesday Service
On Wednesday, February 18, we will hold our very first Ash Wednesday service.
We hope you will join us for a gathered service from 6:00–7:00pm at our church building as we worship together, hear the Word of the Lord, and mark the beginning of the Lenten season.
Throughout Lent, we are calling our church to fast on Wednesdays, in addition to any other disciplines you may take up during this season of self-denial and joyful obedience to Jesus. So commit—commit to journeying with us through this sacred season of the cross, with Easter always on the horizon.

University House Pen Pals
For several years, Pastor Alex has spearheaded a ministry with University House, a retirement community in Wallingford. Each week, he meets with a group of seniors to build relationships through discussions on life and religious thought.
One of the key needs that has been expressed by this community is a connection with younger families. We hope to identify families who would foster relationships with these seniors through pen pal relationships. This could include letters learning about each other’s lives and experiences. It could include art from the kids or other small projects. Our hope would then be to invite participants to join us at different times of the year to share in the life of our church and meet you and your family. Alex floated the idea with the group and got an enthusiastic response.
If you and your family think that you’d be interested in participating, we’d love to have you fill out the form so we can follow up with you.

Join us for Hermeneutics Class
Join us this year for our Hermeneutics class, where we explore the art of interpreting Scripture. We’ll generally meet after church on the first and third Sundays of each month. Whether you're just getting into a pattern of reading your Bible or are just looking to deepen your understanding, all are welcome!
Childcare will be provided.
No need to RSVP. Feel free to join us any week you can! And, if you’d like to catch up with some of the content from earlier classes, you can review class recordings and notes here.

Small Groups
Small groups offer a great opportunity to dive into a book that you’ve been interested in reading, or organize a series of dinners where you can get to know folks better. You can also join a long-term group focused on being known and formed as a community for a longer season.
You can learn more here.
