As we prayerfully consider our church’s future and a potential Anglican affiliation, we invite everyone to participate in three important congregational meetings. These gatherings will provide opportunities to learn, ask questions, share perspectives, and discern together where God is leading us.

Meeting Dates & Times:

• Tuesday, Oct 27: Dinner at 5:30 PM; meeting from 6:15–7:30 PM

• Thursday, Nov 12: Dinner at 5:30 PM; meeting from 6:15–7:30 PM

• Sunday, Nov 15: Meeting from 11:30 AM–1 PM. Lunch provided.

All meetings will be held at the church, with childcare available.

We strongly encourage members to attend all three meetings in person. Your presence, questions, and perspectives matter deeply to us. A form will be shared in advance to submit questions, including anonymously. If circumstances prevent you from attending in person, please contact Mark for a Zoom link.

Above all, we invite you to pray, participate, and engage thoughtfully as we seek God’s direction for our church’s future.

Join us on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 PM at the church office for an evening of learning, connection, prayer, and service as we seek to live faithfully present to our neighbors. We’ll make PB&J sandwiches for Union Gospel Mission Search & Rescue teams, write notes of hope and encouragement, and collect warm clothing and essential items for those facing the colder months ahead—all while sharing food and enjoying time together.

If you serve—or have recently started serving—in our Family Ministries, we’d love for you to join us for lunch and a fun afternoon together on Sunday, November 1, from 11:30 am–1:00 pm. This gathering is first and foremost a big thank you for the many ways you faithfully love, serve, teach, and invest in the children and families of Redemption. We’ll enjoy good food, connect with one another, celebrate what God is doing, share ideas, and talk through a few important ministry updates. Our hope is that you leave feeling encouraged, appreciated, equipped, and supported—and there will be some fun prizes and giveaways too! Lunch and childcare will be provided for those with little ones in tow.

We’re excited to begin the process of looking for a Pastor of Family & Mercy Ministries. We’re praying for someone who will shepherd the next generation - from our youngest children to our oldest students - as well as the families who are raising them.

We’re also praying for someone who will help us grow in our call to mercy: serving and loving our neighbors beyond the walls of our church, including the unhoused, refugees, Title I schools, the elderly, and others in need of tangible care and faithful presence.

Several weeks ago, Pastor Alex talked through how to construct a “rule of life.” As a church, we’re encouraging each other to look intentionally at our spiritual growth and pattern ourselves to promote that growth.
