Alpha
Life presents big questions. Is there more to this life than just this? Why do I feel so disconnected and afraid? What is my purpose? Who is Jesus?
We think those questions deserve exploration, not easy answers. Not dismissal. But true curiosity and exploration.
Is Alpha for me?
Millions of people around the world have tried Alpha. If you’re someone who likes talking about life’s big questions, Alpha is a great place to do that. And honestly, most people who try it say they’re surprised by how fun and engaging those conversations end up being.
As a means of addressing some of the big questions, Alpha is an introduction to the Christian faith, so it helps if you’re at least a little curious about Jesus—who he was and what he taught.
People come for all kinds of reasons. Some come because they want to better understand a friend, spouse, or partner who is Christian. Others once had faith but feel like they lost it somewhere along the way and wonder if it might be rediscovered. And many people come simply because they’ve never heard a clear explanation of Jesus and Christianity before. Alpha is a place where you can explore those things openly, ask questions, and see what you think.
Come to the first night and see if Alpha is for you. Come ready for a fun evening with new friends. Share a free meal around a table, followed by a 25-minute talk from an everyday person designed to spark conversation around the questions of life, Jesus, and faith. The best part of Alpha is the chance to hear from others and share your perspective. You can say anything you want or nothing at all.
